Italian job & Cavalrymen Charge
One secured top positon, the other fallen... unfortunately... and yet again

POSILLIPO-EGER 10-7 (3-3, 0-1, 3-1, 4-2)

Well, no one thought it will be easy... and everybody knew that in Naples it will be home pool for Posillipo and referees will support that... and it really happened (still shame on referees how they run games).
Still Eger fought hard and held on... After the 1st quarter it was equal, then Feltham scored (3-4). Then it was Eger vs. referees. In the beginning of the 3rd quarter Eger had 9 exclusions, while Posillipo only 5. Eger had 4 players playing with already 2 exclusions. By the end with the lead of  Di Costanzo Italians grabbed the game (6-5). Zoltan Szecsi still defended well in the 4th, but host team hold its lead and even increased it. Both Balazs Nyeki and Szabolcs Binder reached 3 personal fauls and out the game. The Hungarian bench got 2 red cards. In Italian home pool, practically it was beyond hope to change Posillipo's 2 goal lead. Eger would deserve it to make it to the prelims.  I still think that Posillipo would be nowhere in the top  without  non-Italian players, especially without Janovic, and Zlokovic - the two national team players of Montenegro.
SCORERS:
POSILLIPO - Di Constanzo 4, Janovic 4, Zlokovic 2
EGER - B. Nyeki 3, P. Biros 2, Gy. Csaszar 1, A. Feltham 1

HONVED-GALATASARAY 17-9 (5-2, 2-2, 5-4, 5-1)

Honved secured its position to make it to the prelims in Euro League. The game itself wasn't tough, the main character was pure waterpolo. Marton Szivos scored 3, while Gergely Kiss scored 2 in the 1st quarter. The second half of the game was rather peaceful - thanks to the mistakes made. Attila Vari remembered us to Sydney, 2000... although this time he didn't twist from 8 meters, but he scored twice from 9 and 10 meters. The Turkish team could only score twice, and only with penalties. After the 2nd quarter it was 7-4 for Honved... and Galatasaray got tired. Although there were technically difficulties (the attack timer broke down and referees couldn't fix it), referees saw only what they want to saw (Tamas Molnar was pulled back in clear score position, but no penalty for Honved... never mind... Tamas Molnar scored not long after that... and sent his classic smirk and head shake to the referees). No matter what Honved plays today against Crvena zvezda... Honved made it to the prelims.
