USA WATER POLO ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICAN

USA Water Polo Academic All-American is a student-athlete who has a grade point average of 3.6 or higher, has competed in a USA Water Polo national event during the 2006-2007 school year, and is a current USA Water Polo Member.

Required Materials

   1. A completed application.
   2. An official transcript with the official seal for the ENTIRE (2006-2007) academic year is required, faxes will NOT be accepted. Transcripts may be mailed along with the application or sent separately from the school. Materials will not be returned.
   3. Written notification from your Club Coach stating you participated in a USA Water Polo National Event must be included with your application.

* Any National Event participated in during the Summer of 2006 would qualify.

National Events Include:
   Junior Olympics
   Men's 20 & Under National Championships
   Women's 20 & Under National Championships

Eligibility

   1.
   2. Must have completed 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. Must be a current USA Water Polo member.
   3. Must have competed in a USA Water Polo national event.
   4. Must have a 3.6 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
   5. GPA for academic subjects: History/Social Science, English, Mathematics, Laboratory Science, Foreign Language Arts – Visual/Performing and Computer Science.

Awards

   1. An Academic All-American certificate will be mailed to the student-athlete.
   2. Outstanding Achiever recognition is given to each individual who was named MVP at a USA Water Polo National Event and maintained a 4.0 GPA.

Application Deadline / August 1, 2007
Fill out the application completely. A completed application, official transcript, and Club Coach notification must be submitted by August 1, 2007.  USA Water Polo reserves the right to reject any incomplete applications or any applications that do not meet the postmarked deadline. FAXES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
