World League matches cancelled
Due to the disruption of air traffic caused by a volcanic eruption in Iceland matches of the FINA World League have been cancelled. The top match of Group 1 between Montenegro and Italy has already been postponed to 28 April. Up to now only the clash between Romania and Turkey is expected to be held, as all flights in other European nations have been cancelled.

The Montenegro-Italy clash is the head-to-head duel for the first place in this pool and one of still remaining spots, but both nations are in a pretty comfortable situation, as they do not need to take part in the European Championships Qualification Tournaments to be held 30 April to 2 May. Other nations are now facing calendar clashes or losing an important test on the way to the more important Zagreb qualifiers.
