NOVI SAD -- The vital functions of water polo player Danilo Ikodinović are stable, and the chances of having to amputate his arm are falling.

“His condition is slowly improving, and we operated again and the state of his injured arm has improved,” said the head of the Novi Sad Clinical Center, Zoran Đermanov.
He said that the functionality of the player’s injured hand would be looked at in detail later.
Ikodinović was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Friday night.
