2008 Olympic Games Accommodation option

Laurie Trettel has kindly forwarded information regarding accommodation packages in Beijing for the 2008 Olympic Games. He has been looking into accommodation options for the Beijing Olympics and has come across a pretty good deal, especially when comparing it to other packages offered.

This place located in the northern part of Beijing (20 mins drive from the Olympic Stadium and Water Polo pool) has 2 accommodation options - luxury and budget.

For 18 nights in the luxury accommodation (in August 7 and out August 25) the rate is 290 Euro per night for a total of 5220 Euro (approx $8000 AUD). This compares to approx $35,000 for 18 nights in the packages offered by other agents.

For 18 nights in the budget accommodation (4 beds per room) the rate is 80 Euro per night for a total of 1440 Euro (approx $2200)

Unfortunately cancellations are not accepted.

The location is Yurong International Education Park which is 20 minutes (by taxi) north of the Olympic Green.
