World League, Budapest - HUN-ROU

Hungary-Roumania 16:10 (4:2, 3:1, 4:5, 5:2)

The first day of the World League was "rainy man halleluja" in Budapest, but no one cared... especially Hungary, starting very confident. The first two attacks resulted goals by Gergely Kiss and Peter Biros. Than Andrei cosmeticized the result with a man-up shot (2:1). Tamas Molnar fighted out penalty, and Gergely Kiss shot to the goal-post. Goal situations were left out, except from Peter Biros after receiving a very nice pass from Gergely Kiss. (3-1) Radu shot a pretty nice goal from center, but the quarter ended with a man-up score from Denes Varga (4:2).

2nd quarter continued where we were left in 1st quarter, Tamas Molnar came through and made a nice drop (5:2). Man-ups were left out, then Georgescu scored a beauty from distance (5:3). After a nice turning, Peter Biros got the ball in center position, waited one more tempo, and then he dropped (6:3). At 7 meteres Csaba Kiss decided to shoot, and he scored... under the armpit of the goalie Nenciu. (7:3) - By the way: that was Csaba Kiss 100 goal in the National Team:)

It's a shame that referees overuled Marton Szivos very nice twist goal.

3rd quarter started with nice attack, Rajmund Fodor made his way from where he could shot clearly, but he chose Tamas Molnar who did not hestitate and banged the ball (8:3). Andrei scores a soft snap goal (8:4). then Ramiro reduces difference in man-up (8:5), long swinging and then a goal from Peter Biros (10:5). Cosmin beautifys the status by scoring in the very same moment when Daniel Varga was excluded (10:6). The next Romanian attack ends in goal, scored by Andrei (10:7). Actions left out on both sides, Tamas Molnar excluded with substitution, and Gergely Kiss scores a bombastic (11:7). The quarter ends with a nice drop goal from Andrei-Dina Eduard (11:8).

4th quarter starts with a nice center goal from Gabor Kis, then Rajmund Fodor rights himself up to the shooting list (13:8). A strange twist from Iosep ends in goal, as well as Radu's shot in man-up (13:10). Very well-played Hungarian man-up rewards in goal scored by Gabor Kis (14:10) - that goal was a beauty, as Gabor Kis scorded from the left wing, near to goal post... and he's a classic center player:). An excellent ball pass from Peter Biros ends with Rajmund Fodor scoring yet again (15:10). Only 4 seconds from the game but Gergely Kiss makes the final thrust (16:10).

SUMM: Very nice attacks from Hungary, pretty nice goals and ball passes, but still stupid mistakes in defense, and a bit low-key goalie work Viktor Nagy. Roumanian team has improved a lot - not always playing their center, and they had proven that they can shoot from 7-8 meteres as well.

Referees were terrible, contrafaults, un-necessary exclusions for cosmeticize the statistics, but that's their problem... this is what they do in European wp international tournaments (I'm pretty sure they don't do this in Asia Group - that's why USA and Australia are always beaten badly:)

THE OTHER GAME: ESP - RUS 6:3 - not the best play from Spain, the new Russian head-coach introduced himself (now they can play defense, it's time to learn how to score goals).
