Hungary-Croatia 11-11 (2-1, 2-2, 4-5, 3-3)

Traditional Unicum Cup was held yesterday in Hajós Alfréd Swimming Pool at Margitsziget.

Well, it wasn't the game of the century, but the Cup is rather about entertaining the crowd, and fans enjoyed the game cheering in full house.

I wouldn't say that both teams played the top, there were missing ones on both sides. E.g. Croatians left home Vican and Boskovic, and Hungarian Daniel Varga was regenerated from a small pain in the shoulder.

The game itself... well it was jamming (just like the Hungarian National Anthem during the presentation)... Croatia had the lead only once, in the 1st quarter. Then it was about question in scoring, and then the answer by scoring from each teams. And there mistakes... in defense, shooting, missing balls... and that stands for both Croatians and Hungarians. This time I rather enjoyed the Hungarian goals, because some were pretty nice and trickery (that's something we do better:)... E.g. Rajmund Fodor's pull over near the goal post (that was a trick Honved played a lot and always worked sometimes 3 times in row). And the other nice one was Norbert Madaras, receiving a very nice pass from Denes Varga, and do his usual gets score from the right.

And let me mention Tibor Benedek, because I must... he's still the best CK ever, and has the charisma and psychological strength to score when it really needs the most.

Jugdes were more or less okay, few contrafaults, but too many not really understandable exclusions: e.g. Croatian player hitting hard Miklós Gór-Nagy in head while he tried to swim back (a not even excluded), but Rajmund Fodor doing nothing with the Croatian center but excluded.
