No regional League unless Hungarians are included | No regional League unless Hungarians are included |
Attitude of Croatian water polo clubs regarding forming the regional
league(much lik basketball league) is still unchanged - they are not
inteested unless Hungarians are included.Dejan Udovicic, Partizan WPC coach said that he had few unformal meetings with clubs representatives from Croatia, Greece, Hungary and Montenegro with whom he spoke about regional competitions as an intro in Regional League. " I spoke to Petar Porobic(coach of Jadran) and we made a deal to start tournaments with our teams. Part would take probably Jug and Mladost and that is first step to forming the regional league which would contain 10 clubs and beside Partizan and other serbian clubs the part would take Croatia, Montenegro and Greece." - said Udovicic However, the representatives of Jug and Mladost said for web saite www.crowaterpolo.com that no one talked to them about that subject - about forming regional leagu. Director of Mladost, Perica Bukic said he heard some stories about Regional League but he had no conversations regarding this matter. "Regional league containing Serbian, Croatian and Montenegro clubs can not function for more known reasons. We would be glad to send proposition to LEN to improve the quality of existing Euro League." - said Bukic |
