Italian League
In the last match of the quarter-final series Brescia gained an 11-7 (1-0, 5-3, 3-3, 2-1) home victory against CC “Bissolati” Cremona to win the series 2-1. The game was interesting and even emotional, but Brescia finally achieved a real run-away-victory. Here Cremona´s goalkeeper Francesco Ferrari was excluded from the remainder of the game for brutality, so that the guest team had to play the last minute of the season with only six players. The semi-final games will be held in a “best of three” mode again and will start on Saturday afternoon. Here the first game between CN Posillipo and RN Savona is starting at 5:30 pm CEST and will be shown live on TV by Raisport SAT. Both teams were already facing each other in the crucial group match of the Italian cup competition in Turin, where the match ended with a 9-9 tie.
