Hungarian start in Euro League 2nd Qual. Round
Both Eger and Honved started well in the 2nd round of Euro League qualification in Naples and Budapest

Brendon-UPC-ZF-Eger - Kosice 14-5 (3-1, 4-2, 4-0, 3-2)
After the tournament in Lisboa, Eger was drawn by lot into one of the toughest Group. The 2nd qualification round held for them in Naples competing with Kosice, Jadran Herceg Novi, Montpellier, Posillipo, Sabadell.

Well one should expected that Kosice won't mean any harm to Eger. In the first half of the game Eger already had the lead (7-3), but the real difference were revealed in the 3rd quarter. Eger scored 4 times in this single quarter, and Kosice couldn't score any. The whole game was about Eger grinding consistently Kosice's play. Winning by 9 goals was a good warm-up game for Eger... as they'll we have tougher games than that and only the first 2 teams can make it to the Premlims.

SCORERS

EGER: A. Feltham 4, B. Nyeki 3, Csaba Kiss 2, Sz. Binder 1, Gabor Kis 1, Adam Decker 1, M. Matajsz 1, Zs. Varga II. 1

KOSICE: K. Baco 2, T. Baco, Nizny, Veszelits

Honved-Sibenik (horvát) 13:10 (4:1, 3:1, 3:5, 3:3)

Practically the game was decided in the beginning at 1:1. As the Croatians were given the chance to take the lead, but after Istvan Gergely saved one shot, in a fast turn Rajmund Fodor scored. That some how crashed the visitor team, and Honved didn't stop til 7:1. Especially Tamas Molnar and Marton Szivos felt the game, scoring beautiful goals.
In the 3rd quarter Croatians managed to score some, but than at 10:6 interesting thing happened. Ferenc Vindisch scored an awful big goal in man-up, but it wasn't given by the referees. It was strange - the ball bounded from somewhere (perhaps the metal the holds the nest), and the 2 referees were watching each other like "what the heck?". Croatians took the ball, and Honved was complaining about the whole non-understandable situation.
Unfortunately this intermezzo confused Honved better, and you could tell that by the result (10:9). But Sibenik got tired, and Honved got itself together and secured their win.
