Honved-Vasas 12:6 (2:0, 5:1, 3:1, 2:4)

Well yesterday's match was what Honved fans preyed for... and Vasas fans feared of... First time in this season and in the 3rd Final, Honved did it... they beat Vasas... and they beat them hard.

The first goal was scored by Honved's captain Tibor Benedek, and after that there was no stop (oh, well just a little one in the 3rd quarter). Honved had tough defense, spectacular ball stealings (and finally scoring goals of them), and very nice goals (e.g. Balazs Harai twisting from center, Gergely Kiss shooting past the blocking hand).

Vasas just simply couldn't score... and there were big holes in defense, although the goals they scored were really nice one (especially by Denes Varga).

The most memorable moment of the game was Marton Szivos 3rd goal: almost from the white line, a well placed shot and Nagy Viktor simple couldn't save it... (and nobody from Vasas tried to block it).

Gergely Kiss was named first for Best Player of the Game (scoring 4), but Gabor Csapo changed his mind after this goal, so Marton Szivos received the bottle of champagne.

What practically Honved did was turning Vasas's technique against them... and it worked perfectly. We should also mention Honved's goalie Istvan Gergely, who did a tremendous job.

So it's sill not over, the current status Vasas-Domino 2-1... and they meet again on Sunday (17 June) in Komjadi.

And the spectaculars: there were awesome, great atmosphere, full house (all tickets were sold and organizers opened the gates, so anybody could just walk in and watch the game).
