ORADEA-SZEGED 4-7 (1:3, 3:2, 0:1, 0:1)

In the first quarter the host team took the lead, and it appeared that all they have to do is keep up the difference. But after the 2nd quarter Oradea reduced the difference for only 1. The 2nd half of the game was very poor in goals, but Szeged still had to fight hard to win the game. Despite of the anticipation, home team Szeged was lack in motivation, but Tamas Varga introduced himself in his new team as he scored 4 times.

It was interesting that half of the Ordea team speaks Hungarian, so their goalie instructed its team mates both in Hungarian and Roumanian, but it also happened that his sentence started in Roumanian and ended in Hungarian.

JUG DUBROVNIK-HONVED 10-9 (2:1, 3:4, 3:2, 2:2)

It was an equalized fight throughout the game. Sometimes it was really hot & tough, that was represented by the referees giving 3 penalties - Tamas Molnar, Boskovic and Gergely Kiss all scored succesfully. Honved played easy, without any pressure and Jug... well they played the usual "I want to win" play, and it resulted in an exciting and interesting game.

Jug took the lead at the beginning, but it was a neck and neck game all along. In the final minute there was the chance to equalize, but after the time out Honved couldn't score the man-up.

The Master of the Game was Obradovic scoring 4, but I should mention Boskovic as well with his 3 scores. I must highlight Balazs Harai, who kept his dynamism after winning Junior WC, and scored 3 times against the Croatians.

VASAS-MLADOST ZAGREB 8-9 (2:1, 2:2, 2:4, 2:2)

At the beginning it seemed a confident Vasas, with a beautiful far drop from Barabas Steinmetz and a nice shot from Kincses. Vasas had the lead with 2. But couldn't keep it long: in the 3rd quarter the shor-circuit happened: after Denes Varga's score, Vasas recived 4 goals in a row. In the final quarter Vasas did everything to equalize, but Zagreb could still keep its 1 goal lead. Adam Steinmetz played after his long health care break. (By the way, Vasas named only 10 field player for the game).

SUMM: After the first 3 games we could say that those Hungarian players are the most vivid and effective in the games, who had returned as Junior World Champions: Balazs Harai, Denes Varga, Attila Kincses.
