ALL WATER POLO CLUBS PARTICIPATING IN THE EUROPEAN CUP

Regarding our letter sent to clubs and their respective federations on April 24th, 2007 and as the date of the festival approaches we would like to look over and better explain some important aspects of this event. It is conceived as an occasion for gathering kids of both genders and their families to increase interest and the development of Water Polo, basically intended as an entertainment in which young kids can enjoy with their families, going through new experiences, creating friendly relationships with people from different countries in a new environment with the possibility for their trainers to learn new techniques and to exchange opinions with more experimented colleagues, and give them the possibility to visit, through this program, unknown places and participate in a very friendly contest. Entry Form Pre Res Form EYWPCl The participants are kids born in 1998/1999 with the possible exception of only two players out of this range (born in1997) ; teams will be composed of 5 players in the water (4+1 goalkeeper) and 4 on the bench apart from the coach or trainer. The team can be mixed (boys and girls). The presence of kids out of the mentioned range must be previously communicated to us and will then be evaluated by the Technical Committee. A copy of the final regulations will be sent to all. Accommodation: the Organising Committee will provide accommodation for 10 persons for each team, up to a maximum of 40 teams on a full board basis. All extra accommodation will be at the expense of participating teams as written in the above letter. Breakfast and dinner will be served in the hotels, lunch will be served in the meeting village from 12.30 to 14.30. Food provided  will be simple, natural, and of proper quality. In case of problems with allergies or any other sanitary problems it is necessary to communicate urgently the list of substances the children must avoid. We also inform you that all clubs must carry a health certificate issued by a medical authority for each participant declaring their ability to practice sports activities. All participants will receive an accreditation to enter the pool area. Transportation from/to the swimming pool will be assured by bus at the Organising Committee’s expense. During the whole festival the teams will be accompanied by 20 trusted promoters with specific experience in caring kids put at your disposal by the Organising Committee. These promoters will also involve kids in different animation activities according to their age. Apart from a security team sent by local public authorities for the event, a private security service will be provided by the Organising Committee. As far as the families are concerned the program provides the possibility to choose from journeys, excursions, museum visits, as well as the opportunity of booking recommended hotels on their own charge. This, in order to guarantee participation at the festival.
