Was it easy to adapt yourself? Yes, we can say that. Of course it takes time to know those who I haven’t played together before, but clubbed together for now. I may say regarding one or two people that I know all their thoughts, but by and large I “see through” everyone. You’re the Captain of Eger. Do you have many extra tasks? More and harder tasks than in Honved, but I can take it. If someone has a problem I discuss it with Gyuri (Gyorgy Gerendas, head coach of Eger) and the same is in reverse. We arrange programs to be together. For example, after games we go out for a dinner, or to have a beer and discuss the game. So I can say, that practically my duties are to clamp the team, and translate back and forth the requests (coach, players – vice versa). It’s not tiring, but I have more tasks than I had before, as I have to manage the team in the pool as well (that’s the hardest) plus I also have to play. Do you prepare mentally for the Beijing Olympics? Sometimes. When I saw commercials on tv with the countdown clock, I sometimes think about it. But I do not concern about it yet. Eger has many work to do until that, and right now this is what I focus on. Oh, okay… of course I think about on the “what will be”, but not that intense, like I will after the League finished. Then the Olympics will be the most important. There was a national team get-together in the past weeks. What do you think about the temporary “increase” of the players? I really can’t say anything about it, as I don’t know what Denes has on his mind. He said that he himself is not clear on some issue. Everything will be clarified in the summer, when those 19-20 or 21 players will start the preparation. Until that everybody can only guess who’ll be in the “broad team”. No one has a secure place. But this is really not my job to tell, Denes will sort this out. Unfortunately you couldn’t qualify in the Euro League. What’s the aim in LEN Cup? March as far as we can. We have good chances to make it to the final victory. But for that we have to play very collected on each games. We have to pay attention, as the qualification won’t be decided in one game. Never to fluster, but to play still and cool-headed. I think we are mature enough to march far further. We’ll see.
