Hungarian League is almost over... and some of the players' contract expires this summer.
Rumors are already out on who's getting what offers and especially from where. Primorac Kotor has approached 3 Hungarian players (Gergely Kiss, Marton Szivos and Adam Steinmetz). Only one thing is sure, Gergely Kiss signed for Kotor and joins them for 1 year.
Gergely Kiss got 8 offers (Honved, Vasas, Eger, Szeged, FTC, Pro Recco, Primorac Kotor, Mladost Zagreb) and he chosed from 3 (Honved, Vasas, Kotor). It's a new challenge for him, and Kotor has high hopes for next season's Euro League, so therefore they now building up a strong team. No news on the offer, but Marton Szivos said that Kotor's offer competes with an Italian offer.
On other Hungarian players the rumors are already circulating:
Gabor Kis (Eger) - probably joins Vasas
Attila Barany (Honved) - joins Eger?
Marton Szivos (Honved) - approached by Kotor, but negotiating with Honved. Non-official opion says that he'll probably stays.
Denes Varga (Vasas) - his contract expires this summer, but earlier he said: He can't imagine to play against his brother.
Adam Steinmetz (Vasas) - approached by Kotor, his contract expires in August. On Kotor's news, he got a bit hostile with reporters and said that he only focuses for Vasas' upcoming games.
Norbert Madaras (Pro Recco) - the rumor of his return to Hungary is still on (since the beginning of this club season): Some say he'd join Vasas, others say he's about to join Honved.
The only sure thing is Gergely Kiss' official announcement, no other official news on the other players, but it's possible that there'll be a migration.
Several fans attacked Gergely Kiss for his leaving from Honved, but he doesn't care. According to him: from now on he only focuses on the National Team and right now nothing else matters.
